LIVE Horrendous CSR Call Recoding

[00:00:00] Welcome to the Successful Life Podcast. I am your host, Corey Berrier, and today, folks, you just got me, Corey b. Let me ask you a question. How do you show up? How do you show up in your business? How do you show up at home? How do you show up as a husband, as a friend, as a dad, I am all of those things.

[00:00:23] Sometimes that's hard to juggle, right? , do you ever feel like somebody in your company has you by the balls? Do you ever feel like you've been taken advantage of? I've found that the people that's closest to me in my business, not me personally in my business usually is actually this has happened. I mentioned this a couple of podcasts ago where I.

[00:00:48] I had the girl that I had to fire, right? She was the right, she was my right hand man. She was the person that knew everything about the business, but she was also the one taking advantage of the business. And I don't know about you, but maybe it's an office staff member. Maybe it's your, the guy that's over your service technicians, or maybe it's your gm, who knows?

[00:01:06] But usually there's somebody there that really is just burning up the. And lots of times they're running around putting out fires that are really not worth putting out. And lots of times that individual doesn't have anything to do, so he makes a job for himself or herself. Look, I'm telling you the truth here.

[00:01:25] I have no interest in convincing you of anything. It is my duty to inform you of what could help you in your business, right? And that's why I do this podcast because I'm giving you information that you may or may not already know. But I hope that you have this information and I hope you do something with it because it's, look, I don't do this.

[00:01:46] I don't do this for nothing, right? I do this. So you all get this information that you may not normally have. And look, I'm not here to protect your feelings. I will be honest with you. I'm gonna get into something in just. You're gonna get to listen to some stuff. That's gonna be it. It's a call, right?

[00:02:00] It's a call that I recorded. It's horrendous. And this is a personal experience of my own. So I'll just share this quick story with you. Last week I had, right before Thanksgiving, I had three toilets that would were running, and you're thinking to yourself Corey, why don't you go catch 'em. Ha.

[00:02:18] It's a funny joke. If you're 40 years old, you probably get it. anyway. Yeah. [00:02:26] So as a kid we used to call people and say, Hey, is your refrigerator running? Yeah, it's running. You better go catch it and hang up the phone. Aha. That was a funny prank back when I was young. Anyway, so I wanna share a quick story with you, and this was a personal experience that I had with a local plumbing company and know I will absolutely not tell you who it.

[00:02:48] I am not like that at all, but I will tell you what I did. So I, I had three toilets that were running, not a big deal, like I'm not a plumber, but I know that it's not that big of a deal or it shouldn't be that big of a deal. And so I called XYZ company and this the CSR was so bad.

[00:03:09] There was no chance I was giving her my credit card number and I'm going to

Be Authentic or Get the Fuck Out | Eric Oberembt

[00:00:00]  Welcome to the Successful Life Podcast. I am your host Corey Berrier. And I am here with my man Eric Oberambt.

[00:00:16] dang week. You did. Dang, it. It's Oberambt. Dang, it. Yeah. I think I practiced that. Like it's the twang. You can't get it with the twang, . Cause you have to pronounce and you just, you can't do that with, you can't do that with the accent. We got a little southern accent down here.

[00:00:36] Yeah, that's okay. That's all right. . What's up brother? I've been super excited to talk to you, dude. You and I are about to have a really great conversation, but first, Introduce yourself. Tell every, tell everybody about you, who you are. Yeah. I'm, yeah. I'm EricI I've got a little sizzle reel and it starts in the beginning it says, I do a lot of things, but the thing I'm, which is true, I do a lot of things.

[00:00:59] And it's funny cuz like at the beginning of our conversation it's what do you actually fucking do, Eric? And it's that's a really good question. So I've been in the roofing space since I was 10 years old. My grandfather started our roofing company back in 1965 and I started working with him when I was a little kid.

[00:01:13] Cause I lived with him since I was seven. So I literally, since I was 10, was up on roofs and graduated through. Building roofs and putting roofs on to sales to eventual ownership. And then learning how to scale the business. That's my main source of income.

[00:01:27] That's how I pay for shit. But what I found out in the last 4, 5, 6 years is that I really have a passion for other things as far as being in the recovery space, obviously is one of 'em. Being the co-founder of Roofers in Recovery with Paul Reed and being able to help people find out who they were actually supposed to be and that they don't have to still live and be that piece of shit that they think that they are, on a daily basis.

[00:01:51] And so I get, I'm really passionate about that and I'm really passionate about talking about leadership. I've been given some really cool opportunities in the last few years to be able to speak and be on stage and be able to take the messages that I built and shared on a micro level inside of my company.

[00:02:09] And I realized, I was like, this is awesome, but how much cooler would it be to be able to share these same things on a macro level with other people? And so being able to get on stages and to be able to do podcasts with people like you and then start our own [00:02:26] podcast with being authentic or get the fuck out, that has been probably one of the most rewarding things that I do.

[00:02:31] I'm a business owner. I'm a real estate guy. I'm a fucking podcast host. I'm a former drunk, I'm a coke addict. Do you know what I mean? Like I'm all those fucking things. But I'm also just Eric Obra and a dad and a husband. Yeah. It's a lot of stuff. I get that. But one thing you said that I thought was interesting, so you're actually like a true roofer in the roofing space.

[00:02:54] You're like, I don't know if I've met too many people that have grown up in the roofing. No, there are only a couple of us left. Yeah. That's crazy. Yeah. That's really cool. That's why me and Paul I think, hi

Corey Berrier is the epitome of turning disaster into success

[00:00:00] Welcome to the Successful Life Podcast. I'm your host, Corey Berrier, and today, folks, I got a wild fucking story for you. I'm going to tell you a little bit about the last four years of my life, and I'm going to tell you something. It's been a struggle because running a business has a lot of twists, a lot of turns, and a lot of stuff you can't anticipate happening.

[00:00:45] Why? Because you don't have the experience. To know how to anticipate these things. Now, you've probably figured out a few things at this point, probably making money. You've probably gotten married, you might have bought a house, maybe you got a couple of dogs, and life is good, right? And then Daniel presents himself as a partnership with you, right?

[00:01:08] Daniel says, Hey, I got an opportunity. We should partner up. The prospect seems like it's gonna be great. It feels like it's gonna be great because Daniel has everything that John doesn't have. He's got the li the list could go on, right? He just knows. He feels like Daniel's got some pieces that, could make this pie hole.

[00:01:37] The issue was, There was no clear expectation set because each of you has your own business, right? And you all are just going to work it out. Y'all are gonna work together because y'all are tight, right? That's why you're going into business together. It's a great idea because y'all, look, you get along unbelievably great, right?

[00:01:58] And then you realize once you get in the business, holy shit, he knows less than I do about. Holy shit, what am I going to do? I've depended on Daniel to do these things, and it didn't happen. And now, because of my lack of experience, I'm sorry, because of John's lack of experience, you had to close the [00:02:26] doors.

[00:02:26] Now look,

[00:02:31] this was my story a few years.

[00:02:37] And it was one of the darkest times of my life. And so I'm gonna tell you I, I just want you to imagine for a second, what you know, you own a business, you go into your business just like any other day, right? And your business partner walks in and says, I'm not gonna pay you anymore. Now I lost my shit, as you can imagine.

[00:03:07] And I'll get into that story a little bit further in just a moment, but in 2017 before this happened, I sold my personal training studio, and I sold it so I could open up a brand new YOU md, which was a cutting. TRT clinic, testosterone replacement therapy. We had a whole bunch of stuff in there.

[00:03:28] Human growth hormone. We had peptides, we had laser hair removal, we had vaginal rejuvenation. We had all kinds of crazy stuff. Now, I put in a lot of sweat equity going into this. I didn't put as much financial equity in it as I did sweat equity, because I understood. I thought I understood how to run this.

[00:03:49] Because I'd come from the fitness industry and I'd already been dealing with some peptides and some hcg, and so I did have an idea of what to do, but I didn't know how to run a brick-and-mortar doctor's office, but I thought how hard it could it be. Of course. That's what I thought, because, I think I could do everything well.

[00:04:09] This was a dream. Like I thought this was it. We built out this

Old Sales Tactics or Learn from the Top 5%

[00:00:00] Welcome to the Successful Life Podcast. I am your host, Corey Berrier. And today, folks, I am gonna get into several different things, but first, I want you to imagine using the old sales tactics that still work. Maybe they're just not cutting-edge. Maybe they're not even as effective as they used to be, however, You don't know that, right?

[00:00:30] So just don't do it, right? That's the theme today. Just don't do it. It's a little playoff—the Nike slogan. So look, you want raving fans, right? Can you imagine having raving fans for your business? I can tell you right now, there's a massive difference between having a customer and having a raving fan. A raving fan is somebody that will literally tell people to do business with you because they love you that much without being paid.

[00:01:03] And you're probably thinking Corey, this is ridiculous. Nobody would do that. You're wrong because people do it all the time. And listen, Tony Robbins talks about this all the time, and if you knew anything about Tony Robbins and how. Organization works. Look, I went and paid a ton of money to go see him four years ago.

[00:01:24] Within six months of that time, I was volunteering for him, paying for my flight out there, and literally working like 16 hours a day for free. Like literally didn't get paid a dime. Because the dude helped change my life, I feel I owe it to him. I'm a raving fan of Tony Robbins. So look you have to invest in your customer base.

[00:01:51] You have to invest in your raving fans if you want them to be raving fans. But you don't invest money in marketing. You don't invest money in your sales training. You don't invest money in your people, but you want to have raving fan customers. You gotta have raving fan employees before you can have raving fan customers, right?

[00:02:11] If there's. Two plus two equals four on that deal. Look, you can understand why this is important. You can understand why focusing on your team, and getting them training. Look, of course, I'm talking about this. This benefits [00:02:26] me because this is what I do for a living. But I want you to understand what.

[00:02:30] What I want you to really take away from this is I've been right where you are now. I'm gonna tell you a few things in this show today that you're gonna recognize. I have a feeling that maybe you fix these things and I hope you have, but maybe you haven't and maybe you just don't know. And I was in that same boat.

[00:02:47] So imagine if you asked a marketing company to drive traffic to your website, right? Imagine you ask a marketing company. You're, you're in these groups, right? I'm in a lot of these a lot of Facebook groups that, you're probably in HVAC master the Hustle.

[00:03:02] Let's see—flywheel coaching. There are roofers in recovery. I've got several Victor Rancour Group profit Rocket. Anyway, those are some of the groups that I hang out in. So imagine if I'm a file on the wall and I'm hanging out in there and I'm looking for sales information, I'm looking for marketing information because maybe I'm a, maybe I'm a $2 million business, right?

[00:03:25] I'm a $2 million plumbing company and. I, I just don't really trust anybody like you

You Can't Say That! He, She, They, Them WTF?

[00:00:00] Welcome to the Successful Life Podcast. I am your host, Corey Barrier in today, folks, you got me Corey B. And so look, this is gonna be an interesting conversation. It's gonna be something a little bit. Actually, it's gonna be astronomically different than what you're normally hearing in this podcast, but I think it's really important to talk about this.

[00:00:31] And I think it's important for you to think about the questions that I'm gonna ask you today because some of this stuff was an eye opener for me. I didn't realize I, and maybe that's shame on me. I don't know, but I didn't realize how severe. Our kids are being affected in school. And here's what I'd like to say about that.

[00:00:54] The title of this show is You Can't Say That because there's so many things that we've been told you can say you can't say, and every day it seems to change. And I think it's frustrating to think. You would expect me to figure out what I'm calling you for the day, right? If it's he, him, she, they, and this is not a, this is not a dig on the transgender community or the gay community or anything like that.

[00:01:27] I have a ton of friends that are gay. I don't care if you're gay, straight or whatever. I don't care. But what I do care. Is the selfishness that's involved with you taking your stance on, for example there is a child in my 13 year old daughter's school, I don't know if it's in her class, but it's in her grade that dresses like a cat at school and they, and the teachers refer to.

[00:01:58] I don't know how they refer to her, but they treat her like she's a cat, which is absolutely fucking ridiculous. It is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard. Now we've heard this, right? We've seen stuff like this online, we've seen articles about this, but I'll be honest with you, my opinion or my thought process was that I'm, I must be watching some click bait horse shit.

[00:02:24] There's no. [00:02:26] There's no way that's really happening. I may be happening in California where they're, everybody's lost their mind. I shouldn't say everybody. It's not really a dig on California, but the governor for sure has lost his mind. And it's, California has normalized a lot of this stuff.

[00:02:39] I, I think it was California. I don't know for sure what state it was that normalized this stuff, but it's interesting because I just have to ask. As a listener of this show, if you've got kids, what do you think about that? What do you think about, other kids in your child's classroom that wants to be referred to as some kind of weird pronoun outside of he or she or a boy or a girl?

[00:03:06] I don't know why this thing has gotten so convoluted and I don't understand why. I don't understand why there's so much attention focused on these completely bizarre things, and I do think it's bizarre if you let your child dress like a cat and go to school and act like a cat. I think as a parent you should be ashamed of yourself because you're putting your child at a massive risk for being bullied to the N degree.

[00:03:41] When all this shit blows over, and you may not see that right now, you may not even maybe you think this is normal, but it's not. And you know it's not normal be

“We're in this together”

[00:00:00] Welcome to the Successful Life Podcast. I am your host, Corey Berrier. And today, folks, we're going to talk about reciprocity and what that does for you in your business and in your life, and you know the benefits of it. The first thing is reciprocity. Let me explain what that means. Reciprocity means that you willingly do something for another individual.

[00:00:28] Without any expectation of anything in return. And so what that means is, you, it's just doing the right thing, right? And again, the benefit of that and what happens by the universal law, so to speak, is that good things come to you when you do those things, right? When you do those things with a pure heart.

[00:00:51] Now, if. Give something to someone. If you help someone with the intention of getting repaid, that's not reciprocity. That's doing it with a, a turd intention. So it's just not, it's not, you don't wanna do that. So I wanna tell you a story. I'm gonna tell you a couple of stories that you're gonna really like.

[00:01:12] So hang around cuz this is gonna be pretty cool. So I wanna tell you my wife, but I honestly. Excuse me.

[00:01:24] I would say unbeknownst to her because she's naturally or just a good person, she's naturally a giving person. She naturally looks out for other people especially her clients, right? And I'm very much so the same way. But her, she's done this for years. And so what she does before.

[00:01:42] Meets with a client is she meets 'em at Starbucks or a coffee shop, and she gets their order before she gets there and, gets there early and gets a table and she has their coffee waiting on them. The reason she does that is that she wants to have them have a good experience and it's a nice thing to do.

[00:01:57] And so the outcome of that, most of the time is that she books the wedding. Now, that's not because of the coffee, but the coffee starts the cycle. Them liking my wife and wanting to be around my wife because she's already done something nice for them. So I'll give you one more quick example, and it's actually around coffee as well.

[00:02:17] I got this out of a book, and I don't remember which book, but the way this guy explained it, he said, you know when he said if you're staying in a coffee shop, right? And you go [00:02:26] and you buy the guy in front of you a cup of coffee, right? It's your friend. You buy him a cup of coffee. You're buy, if you buy him a cup of coffee, you're buying insurance, right?

[00:02:34] Because you guys are gonna sit down and let's just pretend that he sees somebody walking up behind you with a hammer, maybe Paul Pelosi's person. That guy's gonna automatically defend you because you've already done something nice for him. . And so in his brain, he owes you. And I don't mean that like in a negative way, but it's just human nature.

[00:02:55] And I went through this recently. So I went to Charlotte for the PHCC meeting, which I'll talk about that in a minute. And I went down early, which was my fault. And so I got the hotel at 9:00 AM which you all know you can't check in until four o'clock and. I didn't really feel like using my, my tactics to strong arm my way in.

[00:03:18] I just wasn't feeling that this

TJ Hartnett | Challenges faced by those in the trades with ADHD and Women

[00:00:00] Welcome to the Successful Life Podcast. I am your host, Corey Berrier, and I am here with my man TJ Hartnett. I always screw everybody heart net? Heart net. Look, Just look. Podcast, bro. I miss everybody's last name up, so my apologies on that.

[00:00:14] You're good. Tj, what's up my man? How are ya? I'm doing great. Doing great. Just at a great event last week. Ready to go to another great event this week and Philadelphia Sports, we're pretty kick butt this weekend, so it's, I'm feeling pretty good. I bet, dude. You gotta be tired. So you went to Tommy's event last weekend, right?

[00:00:33] Vertical track. I did vertical track last weekend and then this weekend is Service Rocket for the service Rocket Group or, Victor Service Hero or profit Rocket, or whatever name it might be this week, But I'll be at that group that's gonna be, that's gonna be sweet. Should be a pretty good turnout.

[00:00:52] They've got a lot of people, a lot of big name people coming there, there are. And from my understanding, it's gonna be plus or minus about a thousand people in attendance from all different, spaces. And there are people that chose to invest in themselves. So that kind of gets me excited, anytime you got somebody spending money to better themselves, they come with a little bit of different intentionality. So that's a cool thing. I agree with you. I totally agree. And I, one thing that I think, and I don't know if you have it, I don't know if you've experienced this or not, but do you sometimes feel like it's a, it is too much information?

[00:01:29] Like it's an overload. I do, and it's one of the things that I talk about when I'm on stage was, you're gonna come and you're gonna get absolutely fed through a fire hose. Try and make sure you're taking away, at least somewhere between one and three things that you're actually gonna deploy.

[00:01:46] And so when they come and you're like, Hey, that'll change our business, that'll change how we do what we do, whatever that's gonna impact us, and do it quickly. Low-hanging fruit, so to speak. Write it down, put an action plan together for it, which I'll walk 'em through how to do, and then file it away so that you can pay attention to everybody else.

[00:02:06] But trying to, Oh, I'm gonna do that, I'm gonna do that, I'm gonna do that. I'm gonna, then you're gonna get back and you ain't gonna do a damn thing. So I really try hard to guide people. Hey, one of the three things that you're gonna do that's gonna make your business run better than it did before you came and you're good.

[00:02:21] Shoot, if you just do one thing better that's a win, right? So much good information comes [00:02:26] out of these events and if you try, as you said, if you try to capitalize on all of 'em, it's just you're gonna wind up, going in a circle and not being very successful.

[00:02:36] TJ, right now you are actually, I should just let you introduce yourself by Apologies. Why don't you introduce yourselves, since we're halfway through the show. . There we go. No, so TJ, and I am the president and CEO of a company called the Flywheel Coaching Group.

Don't do anything,Start drinking

Welcome to the Successful Life Podcast. I am your host, Corey Berrier. And today, folks, we're gonna be talking about how to build relationships, partnerships, collaborations, and. We're gonna top it off with a quick story about Alcoholics Anonymous and my recent discoveries.

[00:00:16] So this is gonna be fascinating. I'm gonna tell you right now, it's gonna be very, a little bit different than what we're usually talking about. So look, when you think about sales, Most people have a negative connotation with that. Most people have most people think that salespeople are slimeballs, right?

[00:00:37] A lot of people think, people in-home services are slimeballs. This is really why I, this is why I love working with the trades because y'all get, y'all get things on just like I do. And so I really understand. I just understand that mindset. That's all I guess I'm trying to say. Anyhow, the point is if you want to grow your business you're gonna want to, you're gonna want to collaborate with other businesses, You're gonna wanna collaborate with other people in your space. Here's an example. I. Partnership agreements with a brand, with branding companies, with Mark marketing companies with the operation.

[00:01:12] I have an operations team. So my point is this, I have everything that my customer needs whenever they work with me. So I make it super convenient to work with me because look, at the end of the day, it's like going to you. I don't know. Sam's Club, right? You have everything in one place. I don't do all these things, but I have relationships, partnerships, and or collaborations with people that can do all of these things, right?

[00:01:41] There's literally nothing you can come to me and ask me about in-home services that I don't have an option for you and I'm getting ready to lock in lock in a deal with a financing company. Because look, a lot of companies, you're, you, maybe your company who knows. There are a lot of home services out there, service businesses that don't, they don't utilize financing.

[00:02:03] And it's bizarre to me because there are a lot of amazing options out there. And I'm not gonna tell you who the company is because I haven't nailed it down yet. But the point is, you wanna make yourself as valuable as possible. And the way I've done that is I've built solid relationships. [00:02:26] With solid people that I believe in, people that I would go to bat for people that would go to bat for me.

[00:02:32] And so that's what I think, in my opinion, is a great partnership. Look, at the end of the day, there's one thing that I want out of a partnership, and there's one thing that you want out of a partnership, which is a fair deal, right? If I give you x. Whenever you get the next client, you're gonna give me X or whatever it is, right?

[00:02:56] Is there or there, there could be a percentage of kickback, or it could just be that it's a brand recognition partnership. There are a bunch of different ways that you can look at this, right? But you do wanna think about how can you make yourself more valuable If you're a business owner, you probably are listening to the show.

[00:03:18] You wanna think about, if you're an HVAC company and you just do H

The Future of Home Services is Here | Jon Jordon

Jon decided on HVAC because he felt there was an opportunity to use his technological background and create efficiencies in the industry. 00:00:00] Welcome to the Successful Life Podcast. I am your host Corey Berrier, and I am here with my man, Jon Jordan. What's up, Jon? Hey Corey, how's it going? Good, man. Good to see you. So Jon is gonna bring some pretty cool information to us today, and I tell you, I'm, I've been really excited about this and I would wish we could have done this earlier, but, things happen and here we are.

[00:00:24] But, so Jon owns a couple of companies Comfort Monster is the one that we have had the most conversations about. And you've got locations here in Raleigh and then in Charlotte, which is an HVAC company. And then Atlantic bt, which is where you started, right? Yep, Absolutely. So tell us about, tell us a little bit about that journey, Jon, if you don't mind.

[00:00:46] It's definitely a long journey. I'll try to keep it relatively short, but I was in college and the first entrepreneurial idea I had was essentially a way to send prescriptions from the doctor's office directly to the drug store. Came up with this idea where you put a kiosk, a mini ATM in the [00:01:00] doctor's office.

[00:01:01] So back, this is way back in 98, you'd write a handwritten prescription, you'd have it, and at that point, you'd have to go wait at the pharmacy. This system actually allowed you to, in the waiting room, choose a pharmacy stick in your prescription. It would scan it and send it across town. So when you drove over there, it was already filled.

[00:01:15] That was pretty unique at the time we were working with all the major pharmacies, including Walmart and some of these big guys, to build that system out. So that's where my technology background started. And then, we morphed into providing more custom solutions.

[00:01:28] And we've continued to work with publicly traded companies, everything from governments to publicly traded companies to build. Technology solutions. So that's, that was my first company. And I still own that company. And at some point, it got to where there were other managers that were more wanted to have more responsibility, and I just stepped back and said, Hey you want to do that?

[00:01:47] That's great. I'll take some time and relax a little bit. And I did that took a couple of years. I spent a lot of time in Turks and CAOs and doing other things that weren't terribly productive. And then at a certain point I really had the, just woke up. I was like, You know [00:02:00] what,

[00:02:00] you're wasting your talents and your time. And I felt like I needed to do something else. And so I looked around and a lot of people said why didn't you get into doing something, some kind of software? And I said I really, I've always grown up working on things and. And the technology business is very intangible.

[00:02:16] You build things, but they're all nothing you can really touch. And I wanted to see my trucks driving around town and I wanted to I just wanted something that was a little more tangible. So looked at a number of different businesses and came up with the H V A C as being one that people practices that I'd learned working

Fear of Niching Down| Ryan Kettering

Ryan Kettering- Prolific Brand Designs

[00:00:00] Welcome to the Successful Life Podcast. I am your host, Corey Berrier, and I am here with my man Ryan Kettering. What's up, brother? Hey Corey. How are you doing, man? Good to see you. I'm so Ryan, I'm super excited about this conversation because you and I have talked obviously off camera, we've talked prior to this, and I understand a little bit about what you do well, probably a lot more than some, and that's why I wanted to bring you on because I think it's important that people know about your brand and they know about what you do and the services that you offer.

[00:00:34] Because I think you're an alternative to maybe some other folks out there, and we know that Dan Anthony Elliot's a friend of ours, and he obviously is a guy that does a lot in this space. But I do believe that you're making a name for yourself. You've been around for a minute, but people in our space are starting to hear from you now.

[00:00:51] So tell us a little bit about that. Yeah, so we started in completely different verticals than Kick Charge. And they do a phenomenal job. I don't, I [00:01:00] think you really pave the way, I don't know, without having seen him validate the market if I would've really had as good of an understanding as I do of what's really possible in this space.

[00:01:12] I started. Industries are, and verticals are a little bit more like a lower barrier of entry. So as we've moved along to some of the more professional trades, we've been able to work with some really amazing companies. But that's really how that kind of signs of progress that I intentionally stuck, stayed in my lane, and then now we're just starting to grow, and people are starting to see us and be like, okay, this is a really cool option out here that we didn't know about.

[00:01:36] And we've been around for a little while. Like you said we're gonna be going on eight years in business in 2023. But we're just starting to move into these professional trades and have done quite a few jobs now in these spaces and done really well with it.

[00:01:47] But yeah, so then, just connecting with you after we did some other podcasts in the space now, and so yeah. It's pretty cool, man. So I was gonna actually introduce you as the professional hobbyist. That's what I was gonna introduce you as. And I totally [00:02:00] forgot because I think it's really funny because you've made a super successful business out of a hobby that you had, correct?

[00:02:08]. Yeah, so I didn't go to college. I thought about going to art school. The money was just like. It was crazy. And I just I couldn't make sense of how to make money with art, so I I had a service business for about 10 years, and so I graduated 17 years old, junior year I graduated.

[00:02:22] I Didn't go to my fourth year of high school at all. I didn't need to start my business right there. And banged my head against the wall for a long time, but figured out how to operate, a small, home service business. And what was real?

[00:02:34] Happening there. But then as like you said, I started to get in touch with these, t
